LimeWire, Gnutella ağı üzerinden kullanıcılarına hizmet veren bir dosya paylaşım yazılımıdır. Açık kaynak kodlu bir yazılım olduğundan tümüyle ücretsiz olarak sunulmaktadır. Birçok farklı kategoride arama yapabilmenizi sağlamaktadır; ses, video, görüntü, belge ve program dosyaları. Ayrıca herhangi bir kategori belirtmeden de arama yapılabilmektedir.
Yazılım özellikle ses dosyalarını bulabilmesi ile ünlüdür. Arama yapabilmek için ses dosyasının, parçayı seslendirenin veya bulunduğu albümün adını bilmeniz yeterlidir. Bilgileri uygun alanlara girdikten sonra “Search”(Ara) düğmesine basmanız gerekmektedir. Yazılım size dosyanın bulunduğu tüm kaynakları innDirilme sayısına göre sıralayacaktır. En çok innDirilme yapılan kaynağın en güvenli ve en hızlı kaynak olduğu varsayımına güvenebilirsiniz.
Yazılım yaptığınız arama sonuçlarında dosyaların kalitesini, lisans durumunu, dosya biçimini, dosya boyutunu, bit oranını ayrıntılı biçimde gösterdiğinden size en uygun olan arama sonucunu seçebilirsiniz. Dosyaların yüklenme hızları kaynağına göre değişmekte olup genel anlamda oldukça hızlıdır. İnnDirdiğiniz dosyaları gruplayabilir, varsayılan olarak seçilmiş dosya innDirme dizinini isteğinize göre değiştirebilirsiniz.

DAEMON Tools Lite – small in size but powerful features in the emulator CD / DVD-drive – allow “pick up” a disk image, made by any utility for copying disks (eg, CloneCD), ie can work with what you want “discs” – even with PlayStation.Tochno in this emulator, you can insert saved to disk audio-CD or DVD-ROMs.
The program works through the menu in the system tray from which you get access to all commands. Here you can select the number of added virtual drives, mount images for each of them.
